Inter Milan right wingback, Maicon Douglas, will not leave San Siro during the ongoing summer transfer window, claims the player’s agent, Antonio Caliendo. The Brazilian is highly connected to a possible move to the Spanish giants, Real Madrid.
The Brazilian international was on international duty at the Copa http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/America-c38390 and the player had revealed that he would make a decision regarding his future upon his return.
Maicon had expressed desire to move out of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 two weeks earlier, and Real Madrid were rumoured to have tabled a 35 million Euro offer for Inter.

future. Il Corriere dello Sport had quoted the player as saying:
"I am happy at Inter, but we will speak about Real Madrid and Inter after the Copa. I want to win a trophy with Brazil and this is my only objective right now."
However, La Gazzetta dello Sport published Maicon’s agent as saying:
"I don't think Maicon will move away from Inter. It's a decision that will be made by President Massimo Moratti. If an offer of a certain value does not arrive, I doubt that Moratti will sell him."
Maicon still has a contract running at San Siro that bounds him to the Nerazzurri until the summers of 2013. The Brazilian international is reckoned to be one of the best right-backs in the world and many outfits throughout Europe have their eyes set on
acquiring his services.
