The Brazilian is looking to call an end to his time at Milan with several clubs eager in acquiring his services, and PSG
seem hot favourites to land the full-back.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cruzeiro-c38870 right-back has had an illustrious spell with the Nerazzurri giants, and is in his sixth season at the club. He was part of
the treble winning squad that won the Champions League, Serie A and the Italian Cup under the management of Jose Mourinho.
However, speculation has been rife for some time that the defender has been looking for a move away from the club since January. Maicon had emptied
his studio flat in Milan , which led to speculation that the attacking full back is looking for a move away from the Serie A.
All the rumours were attested by Roberto Calenda, who clarified the situation in an interview. He went on to state that the player had decided
the time to be right for a move away from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926. When quizzed on the matter, Calenda was quoted to have said:
“After six years at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567, the time may well have come for Maicon to change scenery.”
His agent did not go on to specify where the right-back would end up playing in the coming season, but rumour mills have been in overdrive after
the end of the season, which has linked the player to several clubs.
At the top of that list is Paris Saint-Germain, whose head coach, Carlo Ancelotti, has been consistently linked with moves for several Serie A
players. Ancelotti along with their Director General, Leonardo, have been touted to be aiming for the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903, as well. Leonardo was the former manager at Inter Milan, which has intensified speculation of PSG transfers
from both of the Milanese clubs.
Thiago Silva already made the switch to PSG in the winter transfer window and more players are likely to follow in this summer window.
