Mail Search: The search function doesn't seem to work properly.?

I have definitely over 90 e-mails with contents and when I perform a search I get of a response of known found.

Try this: click on the mail icon at the top -> double click it and if it shows "0" messages unread on the mail home page, the number of new/unread messages will disappear. If however you still have a number displayed, go to your inbox, click "all messages" -> click on "unread messages". Sometimes new messages do not show up at the top, but way back on page 2 or 3...
