Mail on your mobile?

Question

If you can get mail on your mobile via Yahoo! does it cost alot or is it free?

and how do you get it?

I don't need it, but i'm curious...

I looked into this and to cut a long story short, you can't get it. Yahoo USED to do this, but they quietly shelved it a couple of years ago.  

There is nothing in it for Yahoo I imagine, no adertising revenue or whatever.

They (rather unhelpfully) say that if you have got the internet on your mobile phone, you should contact your mobile phone provider.

In other words if you surf the web on your mobile phone ( and who does?) you might be able to access Yahoo mail.

Most mobile phone providers now give you email accounts with automatic forwarding, it's better to go that way. That's what I did.

I think that it IS free, except for your average network charges, because Yahoo! mail is a free mail service on the web.

I have a btinternet address, and yes I can receive eMail. I do not, because my phone can't filter spam. I use it just to send.
