Mail something to canada from united states?

hello,

im sending a picture to an actor that i wanted to sign an autograph on. she gave us the address to mail to, and it is in canada, where she is currently filming. my question is that i am from california and i was wondering if when you mail something to canada, you do anything different if you were mailng to somewhere in the united states. do i put extra stamps on it? how does it work?

  1. it usually takes 2 stamps, and write air mail on it , and you should be just fine

You won't have to fill out a customs form for an envelope.  You will need more postage than if you were mailing it to somewhere in the US.  You can either take it to the post office and they will tell you how many stamps to put on it, or you can use the link I have attached and figure it out for yourself.

  3. Go to your local post office and have them weigh your package so that you have the correct amount of stamps.

  4. You will have to fill out a customs form and pay extra postage. Go to your P.O. and they will help you.
