Mail that comes to my home for someone else??

my husband has been divorced from ex wife for several years- and has also moved several times since then- and somehow-

her mail finds it's way to us. We have only been in this house for about a year- and she's never lived here- nor in the three prior homes.

I filled out a change of address form for her a year or two back- using her "last known" address (we have no idea where she's been for some time now)

How on earth is she linked to our address in any way?

It's a medical bill- and it would have had to go through insurance- which I'm sure doesnt have our address down as hers....

how do we stop this from happening?

  1. When you get mail in her name, write RETURN TO SENDER, NO SUCH ADDRESSEE

Put it back in your mailbox. It will be returned to whoever sent the bill.
