How quick can I get a new key. Tommorow is Saturday and I need to get the mial this weekend. My landlord said she does not have an extra and would lsip me a form on instructions for a new one by the time I got home. She did not. Does th epost office have a copy, can they give it to me on the spot, change the lock on the spot? I dont care about fee's I just want my mail.

call locksmith.  it's a fifteen minute job.  (they drill out the old one, install new lock).

Just meet the mail man there, he has a key, bring proof so he knows who you are.
