I'm in college right now, so I'm putting my parents' address as my home address, and my college address as my mailing address, but I'll have a different mailing address in June when I go home for summer, and again in September when I'm back at school. Do I need to re-register every time I change my mailing address?

  1. yes, you do.

  2. Yes, if you want to receive voting materials and notifications. What I would suggest is using your parent's address for both, and have your parents forward to you any mail.

  3. To ensure that you always receive ballots at the correct address, it would be helpful to always provide the mailing address at which you can be located. You may not have to re-register every time if it is just your mailing address that is changing. You should contact your local Board of Elections office to verify this, as it may vary from state to state. You can find a link to their website here: http://www.declareyourself.com/voting_fa...

If you will have to re-register each time, it may be useful to make your home address your mailing address and have your parents send it to you.
