Mailing out Wedding Invitations

Ok.. so my wedding is on Oct 4th and we just mailed out all the invites last night. My Bridal shower is next weekend. Was it too early to mail them out or is it ok?

I'm wondering why are you scheduling your bridal shower so early? Are all those invitees local? What about those that requires traveling?

I'm not sure if you'll leave the invitees with enough time. Do they need to RSVP?

Yes, I think its perfect timing, especially for out of towners to put in notice at work if need be.

my wedding is september sixth and I started sending out my invitations starting the last week of June.  My bridal shower was also a week after I started mailing out invitations.

That is always a good time to send them out...about 2 months before.

its a bit over 8 weeks and you want them mailed 6-8 so its fine!
