You can go to the TicosLand website.  We have a listing of express delivery companies.  If you send your package via regular mail, you are exposing it to being stolen.  In addition, the Costa Rican Postal Service is very slow.

Well, it depends on the weight.

I send packages to my family in Costa Rica from New York very often.  I use regular US postal mail. They usually charge me around $35-40 for a box with a weight of 6 pounds.  If the box is bigger it would be around $70. I've sent many packages already and never had a problem.  They always arrived fine, usually takes a week to 10 days to get there. Unless you want to spend your money, don't even think about using UPS or FEDEX.  They are just tooo expensive!!
