  1. Easy. Do not be scarde to die on the field. No Guts No Glory!   Trust me,i use to play provincial in SA.

  2. skill speed strength, commitment determination teamwork

  3. Depends what position you play but the first answerer is right, you have to be tougher than a footballer, lol.

  4. Be tough - I wish some English premiership footballers were as tough, they cry over anything!

  5. strength ,fitness,athleticism,tackling,passing,ru... getting on the p**s after the game

  6. Basically simple skills can passing, catching, tackling and general awareness are needed. Without them you're gonna be no use to anyone. Additional skills vary for different positions.

Props- lifting in the lineout, scrummaging

Hooker-  scrummaging, throwing in at the lineout

2nd Row- being lifted in the lineout

Back Row (flankers and no. 8)- i think these are the quality players.

Then the obvious: all the backs should have the ability to kick from hand- punt. The fly half or full backs generally take the place kicks, drop goals, punts from penalties etc.

Every member of the team should be able to ruck and maul, the backs should be just as good as the forwards and the forwards should have just as good 'hands' as the backs.

    I think I've covered everything..

  7. All depends on position, but main ones are:

    running with ball

    tackling

    passing

    catching

rucks and mauls for forwards, but backs need to know it too!

    and kicking for the backs

  8. the two  basics are tackling and passing without these you cant do anything else

for front row (props) its only scumming and lifting

  9. All of the above and Rugby, Racing and Beer!
