  1. He makes more than a police officer in Mumbai.

  2. depends on his rank and how long he has been in.  Why not ask him?

  3. I say none of your business, but it is based on his paygrade and time in and that still won't tell you how much he makes because that is only his base pay.  If this is something you need to know you should be able to ask him.  Seems to me you are up to something so you should keep your nose out of his personal information.

  4. why?  money grubbing are we?  looking to assess his net worth?

Pay is based on paygrade and time in service.   other factors include allowances such as BAS, BAH and special pays.

  5. The Navy doesn't pay by age...so age 45 doesn't matter at all...besides military pay is public record. Look up military pay scale on Google or Yahoo.

Since I don't know the guy or how long he has been in or if he has any special pay incentives or dependents or what ever...I can not look into a military crystal ball and tell you.

The best you can do is look at a pay scale and get a general idea.

If this is a hypothectical question and you are 45, and want to know how much you would make if you join...you missed the boat. 45 is too old to join. I doubt that there are age waivers that old. (I'm in my 40's so I'm not slamming the age.)
