Majesty of the seas excursions?

Has anyone done the Atlantis Beach day? It is about $80 and includes beach access, lunch, entrance to the Dig, aquarium, shops, etc.. Just about everything at Atlantis is available except for the pool and slides. Is that a good price? Was it worth it? Is there really enough to do for 8 hours? Also, if I opt to just spend the day in Nassau, how safe is it?

Do not pay this excursion price.   You can go to Atlantis by water taxi (about $5.00 per person) on your own - and still have access to the beach, the dig, casino, and aquariums.  The only thing you cannot use is the pool and slides.  

Buy your own lunch - and it won't cost $80.

I loved the Majesty!!!!  It was my very first cruise.  Check out Senor Frog's, kind of across from the Atlantis, very fun!
