Major Crisis!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Question

i got engaged resiliently and have a major crisis at hand, Lets start with a bit of background info, I'm pretty young and me and my soon to be hubby have like totally different styles, i'm what people might call prissy LOL I love colors like pink and pastel but hes kind of emo almost like goth. I know it sounds weird but thats us. If any one has ideas for like what to do, or even better clothing ideas of any kind.

Most guys will lie but pink is actually a comforting color for them,...it also sends a romantic note....

Hmmm, he's goth, you are not. Hmmm, he should do well in a formal black tuxedo, very goth.Even consider a tailcoat.  If he might be more comfortable, go with a look from an earlier age say 18th century. A costume place could help. Think Bella Lugosi in the old vampire movies. Do the tophat and cane and cape style, that style out goths goth.

Do your pink prissy style  on your side of the aisle. Black and pink go together well, any shade of pink would work.

You did not mention budget, but you could do a goth groom's cake, and still have your pink one.

Your bridesmaids wear pink with possible black accents such as a sash. The groom and his attendants wear black. Not a problem.

why dont you two get together and write down what is most important to each of you at your wedding. If you have always dreamed about having a reception filled with pink flowers and he has always wanted to wear an all black ensemble then go with it. Dont create a wedding that doesnt represent who you two are as a couple. the wedding is supposed to represent the blending of two people. work on it together and compromise. its a great practice for what lies ahead in marriage.

You can always make it a pink and black wedding. Make the bold and loud colors the accents and the subtle ones he likes as the main ones. That way it'll be classy and elegant :)

Oh, and also... as much as you think this is a major crisis... don't worry it isn't... soon he won't be too involved in it all and will let you handle it as long as he knows the direction makes sense to him :)

instead of pink and black try a salmon and brown. Those don't look like hot topic. Also, remind your fiance its kinda the brides day.

You could incorporate black by having a grooms cake (perhaps an armadillo like in steal magnolias lol) that has black on it. Something that is SERIOUSLY his style.

Have the bridesmaids wear brown dresses with pink bouquets. Give the boys brown/pink striped or just plain salmon/pink ties.

Are you asking about wedding colors? My boyfriend and I are similar: he wears black usually, but I love pink and purple. He's getting ready to move into my pink and purple room, but I told him he could have his green pillows because he loves them, even though they don't match. If you are referring to wedding colors... it's supposed to be your day. You choose the colors. At least, that's what we plan to do.

Try splitting the difference and having a theme wedding, 40's style would fit pretty well as women were expected to be all feminine and the men were expected to be manly and wear pinstripes, which should appeal to his emo tendencies.  You can have a pale pink cinderella type gown with a tulle skirt and put him in pinstripes with a black shirt and super pale pink or white tie.

Or maybe stay mainstream with the wedding and argue about how to decorate the new home.

some time two diffent people are meat to be together. thats what makes you 2 who you guys are now. juat because you 2 are some what into diffent things don't mean nothing. that what makes you 2 whole. so if he makes you happy than go for it. but you might what to think things over
