Major League Baseball Special: What to expect from Atlanta Braves in 2012...?
The Atlanta Braves are coming with a big heart in 2012 Major League Baseball season and the fans can expect a championship run for them as well. Not like last year, when they struggled in the later stages of the competition, but this time around the Braves
are looking fully prepared.
The Braves were also humiliated when they lost the chance to receive the big price of becoming National League Wild Card
qualifiers. However, leaving all the past memories, the Braves’ management has prepared a perfect plan for this season and waiting anxiously to implement it in the coming weeks.
The Spring Training in Arizona went well for the Braves’ 40-man roster and on the other hand, they have also somewhat tried the new offensive strategy in those training camps. The Braves’ management lately examined all their past mistakes and made an all
together different strategy for the team which will surely bring some positive changes in the upcoming season.
The top executives’ of the organization have turned their defensive approach to offensive game plan for the next season. Though it will be difficult task for all the current players to change their mode of play and try to show the same level of energy in
it, but some experts believe that this is the only chance for the Braves to show their thrust and start dominating the National League.
Recently the Braves’ manager Fredi Gonzalez has also said is the media and explained the situation highlighting how he and his other mates are trying hard to put the Braves in front of title race.
Fredi said, “You go over it in your mind a million times. You ask yourself, ‘Is there something I could have done better? After a while, it drives you crazy. This is really the first time I’ve talked about this, although I’m sure I’ll be asked 200 times
at spring training.”
He added, “But we tried things. We had meetings. We had meetings for everything. We had meetings to decide about meetings. After a while its like, ‘How many times can I perform an autopsy? One thing I’m proud of is that nobody on this team did any finger-pointing.”
Fredi’s statement is true as the Braves have covered a long way and now is the time when they all will be witnessing the results. The Braves with full active roster can be lethal for some top teams. With new players Robert Fish and Matt Diaz, the Braves
management is happy the way things are unfolding for them.
Catcher Brian McCann is also making his way to the roster. His recent little stint in the Major League Baseball Spring Training has given him enough confidence to play an active role. His game is not world class, but still he is considered play maker and
can win games for his team. His arrival in the roster is certainly a healthy sign for the Atlanta Braves.
Another player who can certainly change the game with his enormous fast play is Chipper Jones while the Braves will be highly relying on him. His game over the past few years has been increased to almost perfect level and now possesses somewhat huge recognition
in the league as well. In the meanwhile, if all went well and according to the plan, the Atlanta Braves can surprise many in the next big event.
