Aloke,The 14,400 bps fax after 9600 connect issue is indeed an acknowledgd issue with the 14,400 bps units. To date, no reports have been made of similar situations with the 28,800 bps units. I have also not had any difficulties receiving faxes at 14,400 bps after making V.32, V.32bis, V.FC or V.34 connections with a few different 28.8 units. (MC288MT II V.34, PC288LCD V.FC, PC288MT V.34).I don't believe there is any stonewalling going on, it is simply a matter of priorities when faced with finite resources. Unfortunately, with the limited manpower available, some issues that should be addressed get pushed back when other issues that are more widespread or critical appear.Dan Lombardo Practical Peripherals
