My husband and I commute to work everyday, about 55 miles each way. Well, a couple weeks ago, we encountered a completely crazy driver. We were stuck behind a truck and waited for the fast lane to be clear, then we switched lanes. When we did, this silver truck sped up so we accidently cut him off. He got all pissed, flashing his lights, honking. We passed the big rig then got back into the slow lane. Then the silver truck swearved to try to hit us, then he did it again. So I called the highway patrol to report him. He was driving a work truck with tthe logo and # all over it. He then went on his way. At the end of the highway there is a stop sign that goes to another freeway that we take. As we were slowing down to stop, the silver truck passed us up, parked right in front of us, got out of his truck. My husband was going to get out and kick his A$$, then this guy pulled out a metal bar out of the back of his truck, waving it at my husband, waving it at my car... We then backed up and proceded on. We call 911 again and he was following us. He then turned down a side road. And we ended up meeting with police and filing charges. What happens next and what charges does he face...
I told my husband that I hope this crazy guy messes with the wrong people. Thank god we didn't have a gun...
Also, if we see him again and he does this, can we get in trouble for self defense?
