Question:

Major and double minor?

I am looking to go to ohio state, but I don't think that matters too much. I want to major in engineering, but I would also like to minor in Spanish and German. I've never taken german but I am taking AP Spanish my senior year. Would this be a plausible option with little to no summer school?

  1. well anything is possible with no summer school...it just means you won't graduate when you'd like to. Why would you want to minor in a language you've never taken? My advice is to do your major with just spanish as a minor. In that case you shouldn't have a problem graduating on time with minimal summer school.

  2. I'm not sure what your course requirements are for the school of engineering, but, if they are anything like my alma mater, you'll need overloads and at least one summer school, since you won't have overlap.  Either that, or you'll need more than four years.

I took a major in physics with minors in mathematics, chinese and business from Villanova University.  I needed a max overload every semester but my last two and two summer schools to pull that off.  But if it's something you really want to do, and the administration is nice, go for it!
