Major constipation plus hemorrhoids?

i have major constipation because of this new herb i've been taking for toxins. i'm 17 years old and i also have hemorrhoids. today, i was sitting on the toilet for about 30 minutes trying to release my f***s but nothing came out. it was to the point where my head was hurting. i had been constipated for awhile, but this is the worst case i've ever had.

if i take prune juice, will it soften my f***s? and what about stool softeners? can you recommend any? is prune juice a surefire thing?

  1. Prune juice is very good. Beside all good advices about having fiber rich diet, lots of fruits and vegetables, and drinking water, you should also eliminate foods that are causing constipation. In general avoid all soda, coffee, red meat, all acid forming foods. A healthy diet is based on 80% alkaline forming foods and 20% acid forming foods. A good all natural treatment for hemorrhoids is Rue Care Oil.  


  2. stop the herbs

    start some fiber supplement

    drink lots of water

    buy an oil based retention e***a....run it under hot water and shake it well prior to using.

    bisacodyl tablets work well, but may cause cramps.

    I don't think prune juice is the answer.

    you may need to have your hemorrhoids banded or ablated.

    make an appt with a good butt doc.

  3. it depends if you want a natural or drug induced answer..prune juice only helps after about 48 hours. fiber is what you really want, eat plenty of fruits like papaya, mango, grapes, oranges, apple etc in your diet. Carefully chew your food. Do not eat spicy, frozen food items. Avoid food items that have preservatives ,or up your dose of vitamin C to about 4000 mg a day thats too much vitamin c which is NOT harmful. vitamin C is a water soluable vitamin and an overdose will not harm you , you pee it out but it will cause you to use the bathroom!

  4. First, stop the herb causing you constipation is keeping the toxins in!

    Drink 1-2 glasses of prune juice a day in the beginning.  Drink at least 10 glasses of fluids.

    Take generic form of Colace (stool softener) it's cheaper (1-2 at night).

    Try Milk of Magnesia

    Senakot but only for a few days...it is addictive (it's a laxative) get "Senna" generic Senakot.

    Eat at least 25-30 grams of fiber/day.

    Fiber One cereal has about 1/2 day's fiber.

    Take high potency Acidophilus or probiotics.

    Dark green veggies; peaches; nectarines; cantaloupes; etc.

  5. Drink a glass of apple juice and take a one or two qt plain warm water e***a. You will be back to normal in 15 minutes.

  6. first thing buy fleet e***a after that drink lots of fluids ,remain active, diet high fiber to prevent further constipation.
