  1. Hamsters have shorter legs and tails and their bodys are more stubby than gerbils, gerbils are the opisite of what I just said.

  2. Gerbil male don't kill they pups they help to rise them and they smell better than hamster (i think) Hamster male do kill they pups

  3. hamsters are fluffier, and gerbils are monsterish looking, lolz

  4. Gerbils are social and should be kept in same s*x pairs. Syrian hamsters are solitary and should be kept alone.

Gerbils are active throughout the day and night. Hamsters are, generally, nocturnal.

Gerbils, generally, don't mind if you wake them up to play. Hamsters are less tolerant of this, and they may be grumpy.

Gerbils are smaller than Syrian hamsters.

Those are the ones I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there are more. If you search around, you may be able to find more.
