Major for a family lawyer?

i want to be a lawyer who specializes in children and families what would be the best major for me?

  1. you would specialize in family law (literally, that's what it's called)


  2. You can get into law school with just about any major. I was a psychology major in undergrad. This seems like it would be pretty good for a family lawyer. I took various classes in social psychology and developmental psychology...there are classes like Child Development, etc.

    But, as I said, it doesn't matter a whole lot because once you get into law school you can focus on family law there.
