I have a 2 year old that will not eat anything and I suppose to fix him dinner and lunch sometimes.I feel like never making anything for him again! How do I go about this idea!! I don't want to make him lunch if he don't eat! I tired of it. . . I m a child care provider, and they pay for that so I have to make him something what would you do I talk to the parents they told me to just give him snacks thru out the day or just leave his plate at the table until he gets hungry!!!!!!

  1. My son does this all the time. I've tried everything. I just end up feeding him a lot of the same thing over and over again. Luckily for me, he really likes fruit and Yogurt. He also likes all the common junk food, but I don't really let him eat that too often even though he would love that if he had it his way. He also likes Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches.....It's very annoying, but at least he will eat some healthy food. I'm sure he will grow out of it....just find something that he enjoys.

  2. make sure any snacks are either fruit or veg

then do what his parents say, leave his food on the table (covered) until he is ready to eat it.

don't offer snacks after lunch has been refused

try a different serving method, put a sandwich in a plastic box and eat it on a blanket outside. make it a picnic. invite teddy bears if you like.
