  1. First you should go to a trained professional to look at your teeth and make sure they're not any health problems causing your overbite. If you have any bad habits like sucking your thumb/fingers, or opening bottles with your teeth or anything else that would be causing your overbite QUIT THEM! ask your dentist about a herbst devise. I just got mine out.what it does it there are to bars on the sides of your mouth that force the jaw forward so that it lines up with you upper teeth, you may haft to get braces along with the herbst delivis if your front teeth are forward, but its defidently worth it now my my overbites gone! i hope this helps a tun!

  2. braces and retainer will take some time for over bite in 20 yeasr old, but it may be a good alternative for surgery, follow the link and see how it works

  3. Check it with your Dentist.

  4. You should be able to fix that with braces.  Go to an orthodonist and get a professional opinion.  My sister was able to correct her overbite with braces and then a retainer.  Do you have your wisdom teeth yet?

  5. yes...i had a terrible overbite!

first, i had retainers for like 3 yrs or something and they worked...sort of. since i had a really deep overbite, they helped it alittle bit, then it jsut started to go back to how it originally was. so that sucked!

thennn i got braces...and the elastics your ortho would give you with braces are little rubber miracles. they work wonerful and almost a year after getting my braces off, my bite is still perfect

ive never heard of anyone getting surgery for an overbite, there are simpler ways to fix it..i doubt youll need surgery.honestly, best thing is to do is talk to your dentist, or even better ortho if you have one
