Major voice range question

Is it possible for your voice range to be lower in the morning, before you've really started talking???

Mine is always scratchy in the morning. It usually takes a cup of coffee and some talking before I can run out and sing somewhere.

before warming up...your voice tends to be a bit lower.

i wouldnt say your "voice range" is lower.... but it can be limited because you haven't warmed up.
