Major world issues..?

Question

What are some major world issues that not many people recognize and should? If your going to answer global warming, then don't bother to answer.

I just want to know about other things that are going on in the world..

Well, there's a genocide happening at this moment in Uganda. The lord's resistance army puts people in displacement camps (cause they don't like them) and force children to become soldiers and women to become s*x slaves. But there's children who escape these camps and go on a nightly commute. There's also this conflict with Tibet and china. That's all i can say right now

To me, we need to remember that the doomsday defense is alive and well.

In order to survive and to have some hope of continuing to exist on this planet, we must maintain our current nuclear capabilities and continually update and improve them to stay one step ahead, or at least in step, with the ones who would do us harm.

We cannot now back away from the threat of nuclear war.  Instead, we must accept the fact that we must arm ourselves so that our enemies will always know that if they strike first, they will be obliterated a few seconds after us.

The doomsday defense.  We must maintain it.  I hope that our current presidential candidates understand this.
