Majorca, spain- is this a good vacation spot?

Majorca is an island in the med off of spain. Also known as Palma de mallorca or just Palma. It has two "faces" First off it is one huge party, clubs everywhere and the youth of europe drinking till they drop. It is also a very lovely place with a striking coastline to the south. Definitely! It is easy to reach and has something for everyone!

No matter whether you´re there to just party until you are not so sure what day of the week it is, or just to relax on the beach, or to hike mountains, or to experience spanish (majorquin) culture, or to just drive around the island in a rental car, or just to get away from the sucky weather at your home, or to have a nice family vacation - it´s all there!

Just make sure that when you book your hotel you get exactly what you want! If it says something about great location and clubs - it might even have one right next door... not everyone´s thing :-)

If it explicitely states that they have family programs and child care - there WILL be lots of families with kids there so make sure that´s what you want..

Really, on Mallorca the possibilites of a great vacation are endless, the capital is really nice and there are tons of wonderful places to discover off the beaten path (if there is such a thing in Mallorca.. after all, it is an island :-})

There are caves to see, markets to visit, waterparks to explore and tourist-traps to avoid.. lol..

We´ve been there with and without kids and had a great time! Just make sure you don´t ask like an ignorant tourist, try to learn something about the local people, they´re really nice!
