Majorca Feb 2008 ??

Question

I want to go Majorca (Spain) in Feb 2008 and Im just wondering what the weather will be like and what clubs there are ?, also Im wondering if it will be busy and will there be alot of young people (we are both 17)

You are going to have so much fun!!!

Majorca is beautiful; beaches and mountains, almond groves, windmills, shopping and great food!!!

Ask the concierge at your hotel for the names of the "hot-spots".

We stayed at the Horizonte Del Sol  in Palma and our room was directly over the pool bar, complete with live band every night, so we didn't have to go downtown. It had a balcony, so when we left  the pool bar, we could go out on our balcony and still enjoy the music, watch people dance and drink our Sangria; they usually stayed up til 2 am.

There are a couple of clubs near the beach in Palma, that stay open until around 6:00 am.

The nights were cool, so I recommend a jacket.

The business district of Palma, is amazing; but don't try to shop between 1 & 3 pm, as most of the shopkeepers are taking a siesta!!

They have perfume shops, linen shops, jewelry stores and an underground mall.

Most of the restaurants display their fare in a glass case outside of the front door so you don't have to worry about being able to read the menu or worry about what you're ordering, if you can't read Spainish. Our hotel price included 2 meals per day, of our choice. Take advantage of some of the sidewalk cafes, so you can "people watch".

The most  beautiful cathedral you will ever see, is within walking distance of the business district of Palma.  

Inca has a hugh flea market once a week (if you have access to a car) and the vendors love to haggle over the price. Everything is cheaper there, than in Palma.

We had a wonderful week, that ended way too soon!!
