Majoring in music theory (for people who are music theory majors)?

I have been playin guitar for two years and I am wanting to major in music theory. I have two questions.

1.)What colleges are good for this major?

2.)What jobs can I get with this? Like, where can I go with this?

Almost any college has a music major. Julliard is the best. But I know somebody who went to Penn State and majored in music. As for work a music teacher or rock star. Teachers don't rake in the money but if it is what you love then do ti.
