  1. Why bother? My cars run on natural gas (methane), so they don't use any gasoline at all. Not a drop, ever. Isn't that better than buying foreign oil? It's certainly cheaper for me ($8 to fill up), and way cleaner for the environment. That's the way to go, in my humble opinion.   :)

  2. lets c it is a great idea i would take the prize money then also go free market but the point is to get rid of the oil consumption problem not find more places to drill the reason gas is so high is because amarica uses 1/3 of the worlds oil that's more than anywhere else and 70% of that is used solely in transportation also it is because of illegal immigrants and a pointless war that is trying to get a shot at the oil without looking like the bad guy and all these issues brought on by surprise surprise a REPUBLICAN

now on a serious note this is an incentive to find away from not using all the worlds oil and creating cleaner emissions this WILL NOT be achieved if we elect Mccain

  3. really hard to make

  4. Great idea, but I don't know why they bother to offer prize money to invent a car like that.

If anyone could make a real car that got 100 mpg they'd make millions in the free market.

Right now the best solution to gas prices is to drill in ANWR and other places where there's lots of domestic oil.   The portion of that wilderness they want to drill in is comparable to a postage stamp on a football field.  There's no truthful reason not to drill there.  Those who oppose drilling enjoy us having to pay $4 a gallon for gas.  Why are democrats so mean to us hard working people?
