12 volt wind generators are easy and kinda fun. All the needed parts can come from an auto junkyard. I made one to power the radio and lights in my crappy garage. A solar charger to keep the batteries charged on wind-free days helps a lot.

As in a windmill which generates power rather than a machine which generates wind ?

Not very difficult at all, but you'll be shocked at how big it would have to be to even boil enough water for a cup of coffee.
