Make a flashy pic ??

okay my friend is wearin a tank top in her pic nd she somehow made it flash pink to green to blue etc...i made 5 copys of my pic and coloured the same pasrt of each copy in a different colour rite ......so i no that much but how do i join them all together so it looks like 1 pic with 1 part flashing ???
