Make a list of songs in iTunes?

I'm tired of jumping through all the hoops to get songs off my iPod onto my computer, so I'm just going to painstakingly reacquire them all.

I remember learning how to make a txt file that lists all the songs in your library or on your iPod, but I forgot how. Anyone know?
