clothes - thick ones if country is cold. thin ones when summer.  or if gold mine is open or in caves

gold pan, chisel, hammer, pliers, sackbags, locks, pouches, torchlights, batteries, radio[to keep your sanity]

dry food - or food that require little cooking.  

cooking utensils - u need energy to dig / pan - mini stove, matches, metal plates, spoons fork, knives, fire starters,

preferably car or motorcycle to run back to civilization when u go crazy with or without gold
