Make a mono TV have sterio sound?

Hi I have a mono TV and a PS2. I was wondering (since my Rock Band game doesnt have "Mono" option) if I hooked up my two speakers and subwoofer to my TV will it come through the speakers as Sterio sound or will it still be mono?

It will have the effect of being in stereo, since that's what stereo is.

Through the TV will be always mono.  If you want stereo, hook up directly to audio outputs of PS2.

I would hook your PS2 to your speakers and bypass the tv, the sound will still be mono if you are hooked up to your tv, but if you can't hook your PS2 in the speakers you can get a modular box at Radio Shack or someplace for pretty cheap, that you could run the PS2 into it then out to the speakers
