Make a perfect circle??

how can i make a perfect 6" circle on a peice of wood, any good tips? from the middle to the outside of the circle has to be 3", from side to side is 6" and the measurment around the outside has to be 17" i think.

  1. 1) Use a pair of compasses, set to 3"

    2) Put a nail in the centre of your circle, tie some string round it, measure out 3" and tie a pencil to it, then draw round with the string taut.

    For cutting it out, I'd recommend using an electric jigsaw or a hand padsaw.


  2. it's not hard, just use a pencil compass.
