Make an Oxygen Tank?

Ok, I was wondering, would it be possible to make an oxygen tank (or at least be possible to breath for a bit) out of a plastic soda bottle and a straw underwater?

Like, if I waterproofed the seal from the straw to the soda bottle?

Oh and please provide links too (if possible) on how to make one or if anyone has done it before.

  1. Scuba tanks are filled with compressed air, not oxygen.  If you were to seal off a soda bottle, you MAY get one breath from it.  

    That said, check YouTube for "Homemade Scuba"

    Not something I would ever try, or reccommend people trying.
