Make hair stick straight and STAY stick straight?

Question

my hair is REALLY REALLY REALLY curly, like ridiculously curly, and i spend time straightening it but by the end of the day it just dosent seem like it was worth it. even when i do straighten it it is never the stick straight look that i so badly want. to sum it up, i want my hair to be really really straight like pin straight but i can never do it and make it stay. please help

Go to a beauty salon and get a PERM!

Or just like cost cutters/great clips/ ect.

tell them you want a straight perm and explain to them exactly how you want it.

my hair is kinda curly, so, what i do to get it super straight is , i go to a beauty salon, and just ask them for smoothing or something, and they will straighten ur hair up and it will last more than 2-3 months without even ironing em and even it will be straight after u wash it ..

( just remember that after u smooth it up, dont wash it until 3 days )

i have extermly THICK and curly hair and i have found these few things help out a ton.

-buy a REALLY nice expesnive hai straigthner.  they work SO MUCH better then those 20 dollar ones at wal mart.  i belive right now i'm using a sedu (sp?). it works WONDERS, best one i've had yet and i have even used a chi for a few years.

-when you get your hair cut ask to have it "texturized" or "thinned out". both mean the same thing.  ii'm just assuming with your curls you probably have thick hair...this just makes straighting it easier and gives it less volume.

-ask your hair person about some products.  I like to use Rusk.
