Make my volleyball coach notice me even more?

I made a very good impression the first day of tryouts, and then monday we have another day of tryouts, then teams are being made. Last year with a different coach, i made jv.

Yesterday at tryouts i was calling the ball real loud when everyone else was mumbling and i was hustling in and out of the court. I cheered on the rest of the team too.

What else can I do to impress my coach?

ps.

my best friend told me that she overheard the head and co coach saying i was a good hitter, also the other girls said if they ask your name during tryouts, it means your doing really well.

Im in 8th grade now.

  1. I would practice and work extremely hard outside of practices.

Come to practice early, and get dressed and ready quickly.

Help set up nets or any other equipment.

ALWAYS remember to have the right clothes and equipment for every practice.

Continue to call the ball really loudly.

    HUSTLE.

If your coaches every give you criticism do NOT sass back.

Talk to your coaches with respect, and show that you have a fun personality and good attitude that they would like to have around on the team.

When you mess up don't get down on yourself, but do better next time.

those are things i keep in mind when trying out for any sport.

  2. You can always ask how you "stand", as in how you are doing.

Also feel free to ask if theres anything you can improve upon, their coaches it what they do. It also shows how important it is to you to join the team.

  3. Just continue to hustle...nothing will make a coach notice you more.

  4. just show your dedication!  it sounds like your coach is already noticing you quite a bit, so i wouldn't start to show off, because that's not a good thing, because he'll think you big-headed.  just keep working hard and good things will come!!

  5. Seems like your doing fine. maybe pitch in with setting up or cleaning up to show you are willing to help in evey aspect of the team
