Make newborns clothing?

I really like the idea of making a little pair of scrubs for my child to wear at the hospital, however all the ones i actually find are plain, and I wanted to make something special. The only problem is i dont know what the clothing should be sized like. Would anyone have a specific pattern for a newborn t-shirt(not snug fitting) and a newborn sized shirt(also not too snug)

Well i don't know any english sites, but I do know that there is a site called univision.com and one of their forums is about arts and crafts and the ladies over there live in the states and i'm pretty sure they speak english, so you can talk to to them and ask them for any patter you want for any occation you want they are really good, and they have everything you can imagine.
