  1. Make waves. That is part of how the bills about the Amnesty for Illegals was dropped and failed. The people of the country stood up and acted. Sitting still allows the politicians to take more rights away, more freely.

  2. Americans have a constitutional right to criticize decisions made by local, state, and federal officials if they feel they reflect poor judgment , or are offensive, or are otherwise counterproductive.

A good citizen is a citizen who is informed and prepared to speak out in favor of or against government policies and practices, as the case may be, and to vote accordingly.

  3. a good american is a free american they can distrust or dissend its there right i feel they should believe in the constitution and be willing to fight for the freedoms it brings.the more people that are vigilant the better i consider america we the people not thems just in power.thems in power are there to serve we the people

  4. Same question I have been asking. I'm appalled at the "state of our union" as you so aptly put it.  I say make a few waves how else can you surf above the B.S. and possibly make a difference. e mail me if you like and throw some ideas my way if enough of us do maybe we can accomplish something.

pemberton561@yahoo.com I invite others as well pro and con.

  5. Dissent is good, but it is wise to be selective.  Pick your issues.

  6. You must question everything our Government and Elected Officials do.  I am voting for Dr. Ron Paul.  He is a great leader for the US.

  7. Dissent and distrust is the message our Founders gave us.

  8. to sit still is to be the follower ,

to make waves is to be a leader,

this is why the forefather created the constitution and the bill of rights.

is it possable that the fore fathers intended the usa to be governed by the         WE THE POEPLE
