  1. Try a gold or bronze shadow and put it on your lid and bottom lashline. Then a dark brown or black eyeliner just on the top lashline. And a light cream under your eyebrow arch. I saw this in a magazine and it looks great. Its not 2 bold and makes your eyes pop.

  2. if you dont want it dark, try using a blending brush. its looser and picks up less shadow so it wont look to intense.

visit my site for ideas. but in general, swipe shadow lightly on your lids to prevent too much color. try a champagne color or pastels.

  3. The info you gave was very helpful, because in case you didn't know certain shades bring out the color of your eyes. For applying makeup on your eyes use only very little foundation (it helps keep eyeshadow on longer). Use colors like brown, gold, purples, charcoal, and use eyeliners moderately. Don't forget mascara.

  4. Try dabbing a bit of shimmery white eyeshadow in the tear ducts of your eye. They make you look wide awake and make your eyes stand out and be more noticeable. Also they make your eyes look bigger.

Also to make your eyes stand out play down your lips and keep them neutral or soft colours.

Also only apply eyeliner on the top not the bottom which can make your eyes look smaller.

For awesome eyes, use an eye primer by mac or something before applying eyeshadow and liner. For brown eyes try a lime green or gold shimmery colour. Also curl your eyelashes before applying mascara.

  5. The best ways to learn how to do eye makeup are watching people do it and trying it yourself. I would search youtube and watch some people do their eyeshadow so you get a basic idea how to apply it well and then experiment on your own. Something you do need to get is at least one good eyeshadow brush. I would get at least 3 (all over shadow brush, crease brush, and a blending brush.) Get a couple nice eyeshadow colors and an eyeshadow base (Urban Decay Primer Potion, Loreal De-Crease, Cream Colored shadows, etc.)

A simple look would be a neutral color all over the lid, then put a little color in your crease and blend them together. After that putting a nice shimmery highlight under your brow bone would look nice. The key to good eye makeup is blending and making sure there aren't any harsh lines. I have always used pencil liner because I can't use liquid, but I find using a liner brush and a gel liner (Loreal Truth Cream Eyeliner or MAC Fluidline) is a lot easier than liquid and gives the same effect. I hope this helped you and have fun experimenting with your eyes!
