Make-up artist job where does she start ?

Shes only 15 ,she wants to get a job at 15 doing make-up but she doesn't know where to start..shes really good actually and she has done some great work on me..The thing is , if she does makeup for people then she'll have to go out and buy all these different sorts of foundation colors etc...She has a ton of make-up eyeshadows and brushes and things..as i said before shes really good and talented..where can she get started ? who can she ask ? just give me some good advice thanks.

You have to take a course in cosmotology to work as a make-up artist. I went to cosmotolgy school for hair. I had a couple of friends that were in the make-up courses. Just look online for cosmotolgy courses near you.

If you wanna be a professional make-up artist, you need to go to a good college. But at that age, it will be a while. You can do your friends, families, neighboors, etc. make-up for money. =D

It depends on what type.  I know there is a movie makeup school out in California.  If you want to be an ordinary makeup artist then start by going to cosmetology school and get an esthetians license.  Then start working at your local mall makeup counter.  The big money is in getting a cosmetology license and four year business degree.  Then you can get into management with the big makeup companies like MAC.  I know many women who have taken this route and make well over 100,000 per year and set there own hours.
