Make up essentials???

Question

i've gotten into make up properly now ... what should be in every girls make up bag?? just dont say lip gloss or one thing.. make a list of ALL the make up essentials everyone should own... it would really help... i've saved up loads to get stuff... sooo thankss .... :)

ok well u will need a good foundation i use max factor panstick it gives a great coverage

a powder to even up your skintone i use cover girl

an eyeliner i use rimmel kohl pencil in jet black

a liquid eyeliner i use rimmel profesional liner in black

a mascara i use too faced lash injection in black

some blusher/bronzer i use rimmel blush in pink rose

a few different colour eyeshadows! i would reccomend a pink, brown, black,blue, cream nd green!

a few different colour lip glosses such as pin and nude i use borjous cosmic 3d effect and i love it as it stays on really long and its not sticky :)

I also love lip stains because they stay a long time and you feel like you are wearing nothing on you lips, so I recommend trying them out.

Lip liners. Never use one darker than the colour of lipstick you want to use, or you could just buy a clear one to suit all colours. Their purpose is to stop feathering.

Blusher

Highlighter / illuminator to accentuate bone structure

Nail polishes to complete the look :)

Edit: Don't forget the make-up brushes, sponges, cotton pads, make-up remover, nail polish remover, tweezers, eyelash curlers and remember that make-up looks best on skin that is well taken care of.

Also if you have fair hair/skin, go for a brown eyeline, much more subtle look rather than harsh black.

Here is my "stuck on an island " list....

a great under eye concealer, a lightweight foundation that compliments my skin type, lightweight pressed powder, eyebrow powder (much better than pencils-natural looking), a light highlighting shadow for the brow bone(shade depends on your skintone), black/brown eyeliner, a great mascara, a light girly blush and a lip gloss/stick you can't live without.

These items all depend on your age, skin type and daily life. This is my essential which sounds like so much but applied properly all these products work to compliment not cover the face. You may also want to add a great eyeshadow and some fun cosmetics like bronzers and a dressy red or wine lip gloss for evening after you establish a base collection. I like to have the most fun with eyeshadows because there are so many and they can make a big impact.

Also, don't forget a few good quality application brushes. I know they can seem costly but once you buy your first good brush you will be hooked and they last forever- really. My favorite eyeshadow brush is about 6 years old and has suffered lots of my abuse but is in terrific shape.... worth every penny.
