I'm 12 and going into grade 7. I am Caucasian and have brown hair. I have a round face, big brown eyes, and (sadly) cold sores :( What kind of make up should I wear back to school?

  1. the kind of makeup you should wear back to school is something that gives you that " girl - next - door " look ; try :

    * putting lotion all over your face ,

    * putting a thin line of brown eyeliner on your lower eyelashes ,

    * curling your upper eyelashes with an eyelash curler ,

    * putting on one coat of clear mascara on your upper and lower eyelashes , &

    * putting on some lip balm .

  2. best eyeshadow would be something that matches your outfit (obviously)

wear lots of eye makeup, though, like mascara and eyeliner

    good luck:)

  3. Okay, at your age, keep it light and simple. A light pink shadow [or some other light color of your choice], a little bit of liner [not too much, you don't want to be known as the racoon =D] and a good mascara.  A little clear gloss will pull it all together.  You don't want too much since your younger, it'll clog your pores [trust me there.]

As for those cold sores, try to keep stress free and they'll go away on their own.  Meds like Abreva can help heal them faster.

Good luck in 7th grade, knock 'em dead =]

It's like I was always told when picking out makeup- it's not about making what you don't have, it's taking what you do have.

  4. Well, I would go with a nice gold tinted eye shadow. Then wear a nice chocolate brown eye liner and top it off with a dark brown mascara.

                                             OR

Wear a silver eye shadow and a black/blue eye liner. Then of course a black mascara to finish the look.

  5. Hey!!

If you want a really natural look:

put concealer over any spots or blemishes i recomend one with addedbenefitss like the tea tree oil cover stick from body shop (tea tree oil is fab for spots!!)

use blotting sheets instead of foundation if you have oily skin - blotting sheets are thin sheets of paper which absorb excess oil and are quick and easy to use instead of a heavy pore clogging foundation

for your eyes wear a dark brown mascara or if you want it to be really natural then get a gel mascara

eyeliner is optional but i suggest some dark brown on the bottom lashes  to really bring out your eyes

and for your lips clear lipgloss is a winner but i love flavoured lipbalms aswell!

blusher is also optional but i suggest a natural one with a hint of pink for you

i hope this advice helps :)

    xx
