Yes, I know that during filming for shows, press, movies, etc. that she has her make-up done by a professional. But on the days she's off and does her own, I was wondering if anybody had any tips on how to get my make-up like Selena Gomez's.

Here are some pics:

I actually have more of the coloring of the girl in the middle of this picture:

(lighter hair, skin, eyes than selena, if that helps for make-up tips)

Any suggestions and ideas are great (:

Thanksss(;

  1. You do not need help you just wanted a compliment. You were all pretty

  2. eye liner something that stands out

  3. black eye liner

  4. I can tell you how to do it like in the first picture.

    First of all, she's wearing foundation, it looks like a matte liquid foundation. While it can look pretty on some people I think it's just pore clogging goo. If you have nice smooth skin you don't need to use foundation.

    Fill in your eyebrows with eyebrow powder and an angle brush, you should be able to find these at Ulta and Sephora. They don't really sell them at drug stores anymore. You can find videos on how to do this on youtube, just search something like fill in eyebrows. If you have light brown brows, you don't want to go any darker than a light soft brown.

    Apply liquid eyeliner in a thin line all the way around the eyes, meeting the lines in the corners. Since you are probably a redhead with lightish skin, you might want to use brown or brownish black instead of black.

    Apply a dark highly pigmented brown eyeshadow on the entire top eyelid of both eyes. Again, you will probably have to get something higher end because most of the drug store eye shadows don't go on dark at all. If you can find Max Factor eyeshadow singles at the drug store those work well. I have also used Milani and Maybelline (but only tried it in black, it was really good). They all worked well. You should apply it with an eyeshadow brush, they work a lot better than the little foam pieces.

    Then apply lots of mascara on both the top and bottom until they look like hers. I use Maybelline Volum' Express Turbo Boost. If you used brown eyeliner, you should use brown or brownish black mascara. If you used black eyeliner, you should use black mascara.

    Using a big puffy blush brush, apply a small amount to the apples of your cheeks while smiling and blend it in until there is no visible line of where it starts and stops. You want your blush color to match the natural color of your cheeks. If you don't know what color to use, you can always run or do something that makes your cheeks red and look at the color.

    Then apply a pink lip gloss. Any pink that matches your complexion well. I really like L'Oreal ColorJuice lip gloss.
