I'm recovering from acne and I want a good, non-oily makeup I can use to definately cover that up and NOT wear off as the day goes on.

  1. I just started using everyday minerals and  like it better than bare minerals. It has the same ingredients except bismuth oxychloride which makes the bare minerals creamier which makes my face oily and then it wears off. I like the semi-matte but didn't like the matte or intensive that much because they feel heavier to me. I think they also have a better concealer than bare minerals, I've been using the intensive concealer. If my skin gets oily I just use an oil botting sheet halfway through the day. My skin feels a lot less oily with the everyday minerals. You can get a free 5 piece sample kit from everydayminerals.com. I wouldn't suggest using drug store makeup if you're acne prone, even neutrogena always made me break out.

  2. before putting on foundation put green concealer on the spots, dont worry you cant see the green when you put on foundation, the green covers it up really good aand its only like 2-5$ depends on the size you want at like walgreens. next i use wet in wild ultimate sheer tinted moisterizer, and i always use a color a little darker then my skin, and this is like 3-5$$$ at walgreens, i noticed all makeup wears off even if it says it wont unless you shop at a store where make up is like 40$$. but this stuff is the best. next use powder, like mineral powder, its good for your skin, and just bring the powder to school or where ever and reaply it as the days go on, for the mean time i think you should put scar cream on those spots

  3. Jane Be Pure mineral foundation. It doesn't cause breakouts, it's cheap and doesn't wear off!

  4. Milani Minerals you can buy it at Walgreen's

  5. Try Bare Minerals or Physician's Formula. I LOVE these brands. They're lightweight powders that cover very nicely. You can get PF at Target, but I think you can only get Bare Minerals online or something.

  6. you get what you pay for when you go to the drugstore....since you mentioned not having the money for pricier makeup then i assume you will be buying lesser known brands....heres the thing....less expensive brands wear off quicker meaning you have to reapply which in turn means that every time you reapply you are just pushing that much more makeup into your pores...since you have an acne problem already this may not be the best thing for your skin right now...the more expensive brands of makeup are that high in cost because aside from paying for the name you are getting a makeup that will last longer with virtually no need to reapply
