I'm going into high school in 2 weeks and I need some make up tips. I am an all around Preppy girlie girl, but the only make up i usually wear is foundation but this year i want to wear make up. I like companies like cover girl, revlon, and maybeline. Can someone tell me what make -up i should use and some tips. I have a medium tan complection, dark brown hair, and brown eyes.

  1. Mascara, lipgloss. Be natural

  2. you should go w/ a simple look

1.foundation(make sure it matches your skin color)

2.light pink or peach blush(not too much u dont want to look like a clown)

    3.1 coat of black mascara

4.brown eyeliner on inner rim of eye and top lid(brown is more natural looking than black)

    5. a pale pink shadow

6.and finally a clear gloss to finish it off

  3. wear a little bronzer and lots of masscarra and curl your eye lashes=) that should be good.

  4. If you can get avon i would get an eyeliner brush.  You can get any color eye shadow and wear it as eyeliner.  I use purple.  Then I use a lighter purple for eyeshadow.  Then I always carry lip gloss in my purse even thought i hardly ever use it.  I also put just plain black eyeliner in my purse! It comes in handy especially after gym and stuff.  Then I have brown and black mascara in my purse.  You could also have a little blush.

Here is where i get most of my makeup! It works really good.

  8. LESS IS MORE. really. you don't want to come off as trashy, especially in your first year.

Try natural tones that compliment your skin type and eye color. Maybelline has this line that has eye make up to compliment your eye color- try that, it works well without looking over done!

The best make up tip I can give you is bronzer. add a little bronzer to accent your cheeks and nose (use sparingly though)   it brightens up your face and gives you a summery glow.

The best tip I can give you about high school is to go into it with CONFIDENCE! that's the prettiest thing in a person. Self assurance without coming across as snotty or stuck up.

    good luck!!!!

  9. i hate to wear a ton of makeup, and i'm going to be a sophomore in high school.  i wear almay tinted moisturizer, glam eyes by rimmel london mascara, and put some white eyeshadow on the inner corner of my eyes and just under my eyebrows.  i always get compliments on how natural my make up looks, and it doesn't feel like i'm wearing anything.  i agree with whoever said something about MAC, they gave me a great look for my first homecoming dance.  a sparkly lipgloss ALWAYS looks cute!
