  1. I like using a tea tree soap bar twice a day. Then after apply Tea Tree Oil. It is natural and the oil is an antiseptic so it kills germs on your skin.

  2. Save it up and use it for bio-fuel

  3. Go for a facial for acne proned skin Dermalogica have products for acne proned skin clense tone and moisturse each day twice a day plus a scrub and mask twice a week and drink alot of water (i know what your going through btw as I have acne break outs at my time of the month)

  4. use a cream anti pimples..

  5. there is sum cream that you can get from boot or superdrugs called simple clear wash nd yuu basicly rub it over your face and it cleans out all your paws so spots and black heads go away and it reduces the amounts of oils in your skin it really good trust me =]

  6. Start with a foundation primer that will help reduce shine and keep your foundation on your skin. Use a green color corrector, green neutralizes red in blemishes. Then a good concealer just on the areas where it's needed. Then finished with an oil free foundation

  7. im having the same problem. but ive controlled it by using a fragrance-free cleanser 2 times a day (i use cetaphil- type it in google) and i bought an exfoliator to get rid of the blackheads about 3 times a week, and use one of those oil-free masks once a week.

  8. If your spots are really bad you can go to the doctors and he gives you tablets and a cream and in a few months it looks like you never even had a problem with acne. I do still get spots a few times, usually when I'm on my period.

To stop the shine you can get shine control paper, they range in price, I use Superdrug's own brand and it's about £1.50. You get a lot a little bits of paper with power on one side that you tear off when needed and rub on your race. It can be quite disgusting to see all the grease on the paper but hey. I once put on in a bowl of school spaghetti and it just absorbed the grease lol. They last a long time depending on how much you use them, but even then they are pretty cheap.

It's better than power because you are not piling on the make-up, it's cheaper, it doesn't crumble like powder does once nearly finished and it fits easily in your bag.

Remember wash your face twice a day, also using toner and an oil free moisturizer and diet helps, drink plenty of water!

  9. Find an organic cleaner and face products for your skin type. For me mineral makeup is the best. Do not have to get stuff that costs a ton of money. I get mine from ebay, it cost less and lasts a long time!

  10. For foundation, use one that is not liquid. Mineral make-up is probably best for your skin. But since make-up will only cover-up your problem, I would recommend seeing a dermatologist to help fix your skin. I have the same skin type as you and the dermatologist is the only thing that has worked. Good luck!

  11. Don't cake on make-up!  Wash your face with a mild cleanser, or natural soap, the make a paste with baking soda and water, for 30 seconds wash in a light circular motion. Then use a lotion with 2.5% benziol peroxide.

  12. what don't you try washing your face with water alone, with a soft dub of face towel on your face to remove the dirt. or use fresh milk as your facial wash, it will make your skin soft and smooth and ofcourse! don't forget to use a toner, and because you said that you have pimples and oily skin avoid using moisturizer for the mean time., it really works on me! try it in a week or so ! see the difference. Gudluck!

  13. You need to bite the bullet and stop using cosmetics until your skin gets a little better - even a week with no make up will help.

The sebum your skin is producing is a natural reaction to the hormones your body is producing. The best way to tackle this is to see your doctor and they will quite easily prescribe either a purpose made sebum control gel that you put on your skin at night - it reduces sebum production. Or they will prescribe 'the pill' which controls the hormones and will reduce sebum production as well as reduce breakouts.

The pill is used for this specific purpose even if the user is not sexually active. The best one to ask about is Brevenor...or Marvelon. These two contraceptives are proven in tackling acne.

If you are not prepared to use medication I would advise to avoid make up that enters pores. This includes cream based products like foundations, cream blushers, highlighters, cream concealers...powders are generally ok!

Don't over cleanse your skin - washing twice a day is sufficient and use an oil free moisturiser sparingly. In areas where the skin feels tight.

Use an alcohol free toner, cleanser and moisturiser. Avoid putting perfume near your face as this contains alcohol and oil...spray your wrists instead.

Be careful with fabrics you wear - synthetics aggravate acne. Wear breathable fabrics like cotton and avoid anything touching your face...this includes your dirty mitts throughout the day.

Wow what an essay. I would say go see your GP and they can advise you further. All-in-all this is something they can sort out for you asap - but bare in mind that all acne treatments...including gels and the pill take up to 3 months to show results. So be prepared to wait it out until you get clear, oil free, beautiful skin...and then you won't need make up at all!!

  15. im not really good with makeup because i don't wear it but you should def get some prescription acne medication

  16. oily skin - moisterise, use oily skin cleanser

pimples - cleanse, acnes cream, eat healthy + drink water.

    blackheads - exfoliate

the good thing about oily skin is that you get less wrinkles when you get older, something to look forward to :)

  17. get a little bit of concealer and only put it on the blemishes. cover with normal foundation
