Make-up to cover acne for guys

Question

I am a 21 year old guy and sometimes I get bad acne right below my nose and on my forehead. I am very self conscious about it and think that the acne is all people see when they look at me.

What kind of makeup can a guy wear to cover acne, and maybe make me look good at the same time?

you should get accutane.

it's much safer for guys than it is for girls and it will get rid of that acne for AT LEAST 2 years.

well, if you put make up on acne, people WILL notice.

i suggest you go to a dermatologist, you have adult acne.

If you are caucasian, get the tinted OXY benzoyl peroxide cream.  It isn't makeup, but it has just enough tint to cover up acne while getting rid of it....and people won't think you are wearing makeup.

The trick to makeup is to blend! If you blend it well, no one will even know you're wearing it.

Accutane does work, but also raises your blood pressure and it causes behavior changes in some. I was on it and it definately works, but I had to go in once a month for psych evaluation, and now years later I have a sweat problem that's due to the drug.

In answer to your question, there is a line of make-up aimed specifically at men, but I would advise against it. When people were make-up, especially men, you can always tell. Everyone has gotten or will get pimples in their life, it's normal. When you have them, you tend to think all the world is staring at you and judging you based on that, but it's just not the case. People look at you, then on to the next person, then the next...we realize it's just not that big of a deal. If you start to wear make-up, you're in a whole new ballpark. People will look at you and wonder why you're trying so hard to cover it up, and they'll still be able to tell you have a few pimples.

It's best just to leave them alone, and they'll heal sooner or later.
