  1. girls love to look pretty, and some guys do as well.

let people do what they want.

  2. There are a number of reasons, these could be:

    1. To cover imperfections on our face

    2. To highlight or make our best features stand out

    3. To add definition, e.g to our eyelashes, make them more drastic looking

    4. Boost our confidence

    5. Just to look good!

  3. I don't hide my face at all, I use makeup to enhance what I already have. I use natural looking powder to cover up little spots like breakouts and some eyeliner on the top to accentuate my almond eyes, being mixed. That's what makeup is intended to do, not make you look like a different person. There are a lot of things we do that we could not spend money on, but most people aren't spending $50 on a container of foundation or anything. A lot of people buy products like wet & wild or elf that cost $1-2 a piece. It sounds like you're just on some vigilante spree against people who spend a little money on themselves, you have no idea if anyone who wears makeup actually gives even more to worthy causes.

  4. I think it is to make yourself look better.

It is also used to make someone more confident, as it covers up their 'imperfections'.

  5. yes, we could all sacrafice our little pleasures such as lipgloss and foundation to provide money for clean drinking water..... IF THE WATER EVER GETS THERE BECAUSE THE SODDIN FAT CATS HAVE JUST USED MY MASCARA MONEY TOWARDS THE MERC ON THEIR DRIVEWAY OF THEIR £10000000 HOME WHILST I WALK THE STREETS LOOKING LIKE A DRIED UP OLD PRUNE!!

  6. I think some of us use it basically to be a little different, for me personally I'm comfortable enough in who I am as a person to be able to wear it if I choose to do so.
